Reporting to the Group Infrastructure Sales Manager, an experienced, enthusiastic and professional individual with a proven, target based track record is required to join an established IT Infrastructure Sales team.
This is an exciting time to join a company which has seen steady growth in challenging economic conditions, in a new business and account management role covering the London and South East region based out of Codestone's London office in the heart of the City (Liverpool Street area), where earnings and career potential are uncapped. A minimum of eight qualified new business meetings per month will be made for you by our powerful marketing, telemarketing and nurturing teams backed by an enviable reputation for delivery and after sales service ensure you will have the tools to succeed.The successful candidate will join a team responsible for predominantly new business and also the continued expansion of existing accounts in the region. The successful candidate will interact on a daily basis with pre-sales, consultants, support and project management staff in order to drive continued sales selling a full range of software and hardware platforms primarily focused around virtualisation, security and storage.
Candidates should have very strong fundamental understanding of IT systems and networks along with experience in selling products from Citrix, VMware,EMC (or other SAN storage) and Microsoft. An understanding of Managed Support Services would also be advantageous.
This role is suited to an experienced, self motivated professional able to convert initial meetings into new business and be able to articulate and present complex IT platforms at Board level with both technical and commercial understanding. This person will handle the entire sales cycle through to close and will be responsible for the continued success of the relationship.
Candidates will have a minimum of 5 years external sales experience and be able to work without direct supervision to achieve the goals set.
Providing examples of projects found, converted and delivered based on virtualisation technologies is a must have for the successful applicant.

- At least 5 years practical experience as a customer facing External Account Manager
- Proven track record in successfully selling virtualisation platforms against target
- A strong understanding of Citrix, VMware, EMC and Microsoft products

- Experience working in collaborative teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects.
