Accounting software ‘on the minds of Australian firms’

28th July

Category: Accounting software

A large number of Australian firms are seemingly in a good position to invest in accounting software over the coming year.

Products such as SAP Business One could be of particular interest to companies in the finance, banking and accounting sectors, which are said to be booming at the current time, reported Perth Now.

Referring to research by recruitment firm Robert Half, it explained that 88 per cent of bosses in these markets believe their organisations will grow over the next 12 months.

However, 43 per cent of staff have experienced an increasing workload – something improved efficiency as a result of the implementation of accounting software can tackle.

"If employers are taking on new projects and planning for growth, it is crucial that ... ensure that they have adequate resources in place," said Robert Half director Andrew Brushfield.

A study by the Financial Reporting Council recently found the UK branches of many top banks are sloppy with their accounting procedures.
