There is a plethora of reasons for businesses to invest in accounting software in a bid to instigate an upturn in performance.

Software sales and marketing coach Terry Forsey, owner of Terry Forsey Consulting, has spoken out about the benefits of the solutions.

Indeed, he said there are up to six reasons to purchase accounting software, starting with the ability to complete bookkeeping tasks much quicker.

He went on to note it will trigger an improvement in customer service as queries are responded to at a more rapid rate.

"You'll [also] have accuracy and then, you can automate or semi-automate a number of things, including invoice dispatch bank returns, reconciliations and so on," Mr Forsey stated.

The expert added that accounting software puts companies in a position to make superior financial decisions.

Mr Forsey is the latest industry chief to praise the solution, after Randolph Johnston, executive vice-president at technology education firm K2e.com, recently said it is perfect for both small and large businesses.
