Citrix Dazzle ‘to accelerate virtualisation adoption’

16th November

A new product launched by IT services provider Citrix could help to increase the take-up of virtualisation systems through improving end-user experience, the organisation has claimed.

According to the firm, Citrix Dazzle works in conjunction with the enterprise's XenDesktop application and aims to give individuals "24/7 self-service access" to a wide range of programs and content from "whatever device is most convenient at the time".

Citrix confirmed that customer satisfaction is equally as important as other functions such as centralised security, lower costs and streamlined management processes, particularly with the younger generation entering the workforce.

It stated that employees of this demographic bring "with them increasingly high expectations for self-service, flexibility and personalisation".

The business also announced the availability of Citrix Receiver, a support software that is aimed at allowing users easy accessibility to virtual environments.

Earlier this year, Citrix revealed that over ten per cent of Global Fortune 500 businesses have downloaded and activated its XenServer platform.
