A young entrepreneur in charge of a successful business has told of the benefits of outsourced IT, admitting she wishes she had used it earlier.

Erica Nicole of the Young Entrepreneur Council, writing for Business Insider, said there will always be problems when starting a new company.

Her advice is to focus on the strengths of a business and what it is good at, before outsourcing all the rest.

"I found myself spending exorbitant amounts of time planning with little or no true focus on execution. In retrospect, I wish I had outsourced early on and focused on my strengths a lot sooner," stated Ms Nicole.

She went on to say that providers – such as those offering outsourced IT – will help companies to save money and time, as well as benefit from access to industry expertise.

Martyn Hart, chairman of the National Outsourcing Association, recently said that using outside firms is a proven way to save cash.
