A pharmaceutical company has opted to install enterprise resource planning (ERP) software by SAP in order to start the new year on the right foot.

According to Destination CRM, BDI Pharma is to add SAP technology to its infrastructure in a bid to improve its efficiency further.

The US-based firm said its commitment to SAP is driving not only efficiency but flexibility and capability too.

Thomas Draughn, SAP project manager at BDI, explained the company has invested plenty of time, finances and other resources over recent months.

BDI is a distributor of biotech therapies and believes it can help its own customers to save money and time, said vice-president of national accounts Debra Aronson.

Earlier this month, the UK's leading provider of fans, Halifax Fans, chose SAP ERP software, citing the ability of the technology to offer support during a period of growth as its key reason for doing so.
