Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software produced by SAP has allowed a company to accelerate growth and improve efficiency after a successful implementation.

A report by India Infoline has revealed iSAT Network Engineers – which specialises in engineering, construction and procurement – has deployed technology created by the world-famous solutions provider.

The company has even won the prestigious SAP Ace Award 2011 for customer excellence in the Best-Run Business in Cloud ERP Implementation category.

Shreya Agarwal, director at iSAT, told the news source: "Adaptation of SAP's on demand application showed us real quick results. It conferred us business benefits in terms of bagging some of the most prestigious contracts by various government utilities."

Investment in SAP solutions is said to have taken place after the business realised its need for a highly efficient system.

A recent report by Cloud Pro suggested SAP is to continue with its focus on the cloud in 2012.
