SAP has confirmed the release of two new initiatives that have been designed with entrepreneurs in mind.

The enterprise resource planning (ERP) software provider has announced it wishes to help businesspeople unlock their potential and drive growth.

It is teaming up with Endeavor to produce analytical dashboards that display the impact entrepreneurs are having on the area in which they are based.

The second scheme is in conjunction with Ashoka Changemakers and sees SAP developing a global competition that will help small businesses expand and succeed in undeserved communities.

Linda Rottenberg, co-founder and chief executive officer of Endeavor, said: "The technology from SAP will help us further track the financial, human, social, intellectual and cultural capital created by high-impact entrepreneurs and demonstrate how they consistently outperform their industry peers."

One company to have recently benefited from SAP's solutions is outdoor clothing and equipment provider Cabela's Incorporated, which is using the firm's technology in a bid to support growth.
