Users of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software built by SAP now have the option of adding one of two new analytics tools to their set-up.

The company has confirmed that the solutions are designed to evaluate the performance of the SAP Business One products.

Once they have been deployed, information will be passed to users quickly enough for them to act on it before it becomes irrelevant. The advantage of this is that faster decision making will increase the rate at which applications work and make it possible to access large quantities of data in less time than ever.

Those who invest in the analytics tools from SAP will find they boast best-in-class operational reporting technology, with the flexibility to run reports interactively.

Sanjay Poonen, global solutions president at SAP, said in a recent video interview with InformationWeek that the company has bold and ambitious plans for the future.
