Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software manufacturer SAP is to provide an Australian company with even more solutions to help its operational ability.

Device Technologies – which creates products for the medical sector down under – has selected the company to deliver Business Communications Management.

It is the latest SAP implementation made by the firm, as it already enjoys the benefits of other solutions from its ERP and Warehouse Management ranges.

Kevin Ryan, managing director at Device Technologies, said: "SAP Business Communications Management not only provides us with the functionality required for our contact centres, it also seamlessly integrates with our existing SAP systems."

The use of ERP should help the company to achieve high levels of efficiency and cost-effectiveness as it seeks to ship its medical equipment around Australia and New Zealand.

SAP recently announced it is set to realise its sustainability goals for 2011, making it a good green choice for businesses.
