ERP software provider SAP’s innovation ‘allows it to succeed in difficult times’

SAP, well-known around the world as a leading provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, has been praised for its approach to business.

Despite the difficult economic conditions affecting organisations both in the UK and abroad, it has managed to remain successful.

Indeed, Tim Stevenson, manager of the Henderson EuroTrust, wrote in a piece for the Financial Times that the company used a recent report to state its last three-month period had been its "best quarter in ten years".

The newspaper suggested this is a direct result of its determination to remain innovative throughout such spells, while it has also continued to invest in and acquire other firms.

It even implied this may be a strategy well worth sticking to over the coming months, as the tricky eurozone still presents "plenty of opportunities" for investment and growth.

SAP recently revealed it is targeting growth in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as a result of its new multi-million pound research centre in Romania.
