SAP, a world leader in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, has reaffirmed its commitment to making the implementation of its solutions as easy and successful as possible.

It has used its annual Quality Awards, which recognises those companies that have enjoyed the greatest levels of success in the aftermath of a smooth adoption of SAP equipment, as an opportunity to emphasise the importance of the initial stages of a deployment.

Steve Winter, managing director for SAP UK and Ireland, said it is important for customers to be able to realise the benefits of ERP software soon after introducing it.

"Through the SAP Quality Programme, we aim to work even closer with our partners and customers and ensure that their software implementations are successful and provide fast time to value," he stated.

InfoWorld this week quoted Siavash Moshiri, consultant and SAP corporate master's program leader at Sheffield Hallam University, as suggesting that SAP installations can now be carried out successfully in a short period of time.
