Users of SAP market leading solutions will now be in a position to take advantage of a new analytical tool released by the firm.

The enterprise resource planning (ERP) software specialist has confirmed it has launched a new application for the aerospace and defence (A&D) industries.

SAP Program Performance Analysis for A&D allows business leaders to gain unique and deep insights into their operations quickly and effectively.

It announced the arrival of the product at the EVM World 2012 conference in Naples, Florida, which comes to an end today (June 1st).

SAP believes its tool will give bosses an advantage in what is a notoriously competitive market. The analysis will be tailored to match the specifications of a particular industry.

Currently, SAP is renowned for its work in several markets and boasts a vast range of technology. For instance, it was named the top provider of customer relationship management solutions this week by research body Gartner.
