Home working ‘allows access to untapped talent’

Companies that purchase remote access software can boost their performance through utilisation of home workers, one specialist has claimed.

Dale Vile of Freeform Dynamics noted in an article for the Register that the proliferation of broadband has helped to make remote access technologies a "very practical option".

He stated: "[Remote access] allows businesses to tap into otherwise inaccessible talent groups who have difficulty coping with normal nine-to-five office-based working."

Mr Vile went on to say that this kind of platform provides a "win/win" situation for employers and personnel.

According to the expert, remote access is quickly establishing itself in many organisations, largely due to the development of mobile communications devices, which have allowed flexible working to extend into "large parts of the workforce".

Wayne Evans, systems manager at the Royal Shakespeare Company, recently stated that remote access software is an excellent option for firms that wish to maximise the flexibility of their functions.ADNFCR-2732-ID-19493969-ADNFCR
