IT outsourcing ‘to sustain growth through 2010’

IT outsourcing companies are to continue to witness growth throughout the remainder of 2010, it has been claimed.

Writing for Official Wire, Kathy Mar Mateo noted the sector will remain popular despite the economic climate showing signs of recovery.

The journalist observed support and managed services became a particularly viable option when many parts of the globe were affected by the recent financial crisis.

"Companies were in dire need of sufficient funds to sustain their business - outsourcing was their saviour," she explained.

Ms Mar Mateo stated many economists predict the sector will remain in the limelight in the coming months as firm's wish to sustain long-term cost savings.

She added many organisations also harbour fear of another economic downturn.

Writing recently for Forbes, Bhanu Singh and Michael Heric claimed IT outsourcing has been employed by many firms in recent years, enabling them to successfully create and maintain value over the period.
