Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems are being implemented by more and more companies for a number of reasons, it has been suggested.

Manufacturers’ Monthly recently noted a strong ERP system can be the most important technology employed in a manufacturing environment as it can achieve visibility across all departments, processes and outsourced operations.
