SAP ‘allowing customers to excel’

14th June

Category: ERP systems

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems provider SAP has enabled companies to thrive in the last year, a new report has suggested.

The annual AMR Research Supply Chain Top 25 list has revealed 17 of the enterprises to make the grade are customers of the Germany-based software firm.

Now in its sixth year, the study compiled by AMR Research - which is a partner of Gartner - identifies the Fortune Global 500 companies that best show demand-driven excellence for supply chain operations.

It focuses on manufacturing and retail businesses and considers their effectiveness in the coordination and integration of the functional areas of supply, demand and product management.

SAP was noted for its ability to allow its customers to collaborate, plan and execute its "idea to delivery" process by providing operational performance and strategic management.

It was recently reported SAP’s popularity is expanding globally, with its business successes in Asia in particular seeing a marked improvement.
