SAP Business One can be used by companies to help streamline their operations, it has been suggested.

The enterprise resource planning (ERP) system has been chosen by the Torelli Bicycle Company to help transform its business processes.

It is hoped the implementation will enable the North Hollywood-based road bike importer and distributor to help focus more on its core business and customers.

The SAP Business One application should also allow the firm to better organise and sustain its future growth, as well as improve its current processes.

A decision to invest in the ERP system from the Germany-based provider was reached when it was found the current computer system was not keeping pace with the bike-maker's expansion.

It was recently revealed the SAP Business One platform has been selected by men's footwear company Thomas Raymond and Co.

In an interview with IncTechnology.com, the organisation's chief financial officer Jim Drozdowski said the choice was made as the technology can manage all the firm's processes in one.
