Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) wishing to improve their financial organisation may want to consider implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system SAP Business One.
Kathleen Hall, reporting for Computer Weekly, noted the software has been selected by small toy provider Jellycat.
The ERP system was selected by the company to integrate its business functions, the journalist explained.
Being an SME-specific package, SAP Business One will automate the organisation’s processes as well as providing financial reporting, she claimed.
Finance director at Jellycat Danny Olive stated the upgrade was vital for the firm.
He remarked: “We needed a comprehensive, integrated and scalable solution to help us continue our business success.”
The implementation follows news SAP is now turning its attention to the SME market having successfully penetrated larger organisations.
Werner Brandt, chief financial advisor for the Germany-based software provider, recently predicted the firm will return to a net cash profit in the near future.
