SAP Business One has been touted by one expert as a good product for small and medium-sized companies looking to expand.

Executive vice-president at technology seminar and conference specialist K2 Enterprises Randy Johnston noted that the software is particularly valuable for those hoping to increase the rate of their development.
"I frequently recommended it in situations where the business is likely to grow quickly" he remarked.

Mr Johnston added that the application is specifically targeted to organisations that are of this dimension and can take as little as three days to fully integrate into a firm's functions.

According to SAP, the Business One solution enables businesses to amalgamate a range of core operations through a single package and offers modules in customer relationship management, sales, financial services and inventory.

Enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP Business One recently ranked highly in the annual Society for Information Management IT Trend Survey regarding the value of commercial applications.
