SAP Business One is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that can integrate core business functions throughout a company, it has been suggested.
The software can streamline a number of operations for customers, including sales, stock, finance and accounting, Business World reports.
According to the news provider, one firm to have adopted the ERP system is Zagu Foods, whose chief operating officer Erwin Spencer Lim explained the implementation will save the time staff previously spent manually generating reports.
Mr Lim said the firm needed "to resolve inefficiency caused by disparate computer systems that different business units were using to manage [stock], accounting and point of sale".
He added the organisation chose SAP Business One as it has a large customer base and excellent references.
Writing for DNAIndia, Amit Tripathi recently observed SAP is looking into a variety of sustainability projects, which could be worth around £4.77 billion between 2009 and 2013.
