SAP Business One has numerous benefits that one company has stated it expects to harness as it attempts to grow from strength to strength.

In an interview with IncTechnology.com, chief financial officer of men's footwear firm Thomas Raymond and Co Jim Drozdowski commented the firm has decided to implement SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

According to Mr Drozdowski, SAP Business One was chosen because it offers the chance to manage all of the company's processes in one, single application.

In addition, he noted he wanted technology that would be compatible with the frontrunners in the sector and facilitate any acquisitions that may take place in the future.

Mr Drozdowski went on to explain: "It's a very dynamic system. We're going to be able to use multiple factories and multiple customer ship-tos and multiple sales reps and multiple lines."

Thomas Raymond and Co was formed in 2009 and is parent company to the Ernest Hemingway Footwear Company, which is set for a full product launch later this year.
