There are a number of advantages for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that select software provided by SAP.
This is the opinion of Debdeep Sengupta, vice-president of SME and channels at the organisation, who told CXOtoday.com that its enterprise resource planning (ERP) programs offer a "more stable platform".
According to Mr Sengupta, SMEs experienced problems with confidence and liquidity during the recession, however many are now looking to invest in software.
He remarked: "Customers are again planning to get back in a growth mode, however, this could still take a couple more quarters to materialise."
The expert went on to say that the firm’s global client base is made up of between 70 and 75 per cent less-sizable companies and ERP platforms, such as SAP Business One, could aid their performance.
SAP recently announced that its software will increasingly target environmental processes to ensure firms are able to monitor their carbon footprints.
