Success in a number of sectors is driving the growth of enterprise resource planning (ERP) provider SAP, it has been suggested.
Speaking to the Hindu Business Line, Alok Goyal - chief operating officer at SAP India - said the Germany-based outfit has witnessed significant revenue increases on a global scale in the last three months before June.
The industry expert noted it is manufacturing services that remains the key driver at the moment.
"For us, growth has come in the 'traditional' manufacturing area as well as domains such as public sector, utilities and education," he explained.
Mr Goyal added the three-month spell leading up to June had been a "good period" for SAP - both in India and across the planet.
Trefis reported SAP has witnessed its profits margins widen in recent months, with increased spending on IT thanks to an ever-improving economic climate being the main reason for the success.
