SAP launches liquidity planning accounting software

8th November

Category: Accounting Software

SAP has announced the launch of new accounting software that helps businesses to manage their cash flow and liquidity data with greater ease.

The SAP Business One developer has allied with Deloitte to launch the new SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation application, which is designed to be integrated easily into any enterprise resource planning system.

It offers a variety of pre-defined components, templates and tools that allow business finance professionals to access prior transactions, simulate liquidity strategies and model various scenarios.

According to SAP, the new accounting software allows users to receive a "jumpstart" in putting a full liquidity-planning solution into place.

It explained: "Combining committed transactions with forecasted financial data gives customers the insight they need to help avoid inaccurate forecasts of future exposures."

Earlier this month, it was revealed that electronics giant Dixons has been implementing SAP business management software to replace its ageing legacy infrastructure, which was incurring large amounts of unnecessary cost for the company.
