Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems provider SAP can offer customers products to suit their specific needs, it has been claimed.
Tim Noble, managing director at SAP UK and Ireland was speaking after the company conducted a survey of chief information officers (CIOs) from 250 UK companies, Manufacturing Computer Solutions reports.
The study revealed on-premise technology will continue to be the primary software model, as 61 per cent of new investments will be on-site over the next 12 months.
Mr Noble noted it is the service range that makes SAP so attractive to clients.
"At SAP we are well set up to provide our customers with the choice and flexibility they need, offering a mix of on-demand, on-device and on-premise solutions," he explained.
Sanjay Poonen, vice-president and general manager at SAP Business, recently stated customer-centric innovation is the key driver behind the firm’s progress as it seeks to take care of all behind-the-scenes processes.
