28th January

Category: ERP systemsEnterprise resource planning (ERP) system provider SAP is looking to enhance the efficiency of its software in 2010.

The organisation stated in a year-end report that despite a challenging economic environment, it will continue to expand its roster of products - which includes SAP Business One.

Leo Apotheker, chief executive officer at the company, said that he is expecting to achieve a "top-line" performance over the next 12 months.

He remarked: "We will drive growth by continuing to strengthen our core business and expand beyond the core with new products and technologies."

According to Mr Apotheker, these new offerings will be designed to quicken implementation procedures and improve accessibility from a range of devices.

SAP‘s year-end report showed the company earned €8.2 billion (£7.1 billion) in software and related services revenues in 2009.

Dennis Gaughan of AMR Research recently predicted that the Germany-based enterprise will be hoping to expand the business-to-business integration functions of its ERP systems over the next 12 months.ADNFCR-2732-ID-19584088-ADNFCR
