This is the opinion of Rick Rayford, president and chief executive officer of US-based retailer Brookshire Grocery Company, who stated that the software provider’s products have a number of benefits.

"SAP understands how essential it is to our business to maintain both profitability and shopper satisfaction," he remarked, adding that its ERP solutions are central to attracting and maintaining customer levels.

According to Mr Rayford, by expanding its implementation of the Germany-based company’s Business suite his firm is able to maximise investments and improve its data spread insights.

The enterprise can also categorise its pricing strategies and produce a more streamlined approach to promotions within the store, he explained. 

In recent news, SAP revealed that it will be improving the sustainability monitoring functions of its ERP systems in line with an increased need for these services from retailers.
