Citrix – one of the world's leading providers of server virtualisation solutions – has revealed its latest financial results for the third quarter of 2011.
The company said it experienced a 20 per cent hike in its quarterly revenue, as the total hit $565 million (£353 million).
In the same three-month period in 2010, that figure was $472 million, indicating the firm has enjoyed significant growth in recent months.
"This was a great quarter for Citrix. I couldn't be more delighted or proud of our Q3 performance across geographies, business lines and financially," stated Mark Templeton, president and chief executive officer at the server virtualisation solutions manufacturer.
He went on to suggest Citrix is strong in a number of key areas, including virtualisation, the cloud and networking.
Enterprise resource planning software provider SAP recently announced its results for the same period, noting it has now recorded seven consecutive quarters of double-digit growth.
