Businesses in London may find they need to implement the use of remote access software ahead of next week's tube strike.
Underground personnel are taking industrial action for 24 hours on Monday (September 6th), which is like to cause problems for many commuters travelling to the office.
Some firms already have home working and remote access systems in operation, with media relations manager for HSBC Candice Durrett being quoted by the Wharf as saying the bank "has a remote working policy in place".
"Members of staff are provided with the necessary technology [that] allows them to work from home if they have difficulty getting in to the office," she continued.
Some companies might want to look into the advantages of software such as Citrix Access Gateway, as this can give their workers secure remote access to their desktop PC and its applications in the event they cannot get to the workplace.
