Virtualisation software provider VMware has revealed further details of its annual industry event, VMworld 2011.
The conference is set to take place from August 29th and will feature in excess of 175 sessions explaining how to adopt virtualisation systems and how they will prove advantageous.
Paul Maritz, chief executive officer of the company, will kick off the event with a keynote presentation on the future of cloud computing.
Over the four days on which it runs, some 480 laboratory sessions are to be held in which visitors can explore VMware's processes.
On August 30th, accounting software and other equipment may come to the fore, as VMware hosts a Financial Analyst Day.
This will provide the investment community with new ideas and information on the topic of money management and strategy.
InformationWeek recently suggested that the new VMware vSphere 5 solution puts the firm two steps ahead of its competition.
