Proof of Concept

Is it for me?

Proof of Concept is a business process that Codestone use to establish beyond doubt that a theoretical solution will work in a real-world scenario.

What does it do?

Proof of Concept involves defining the solution concept to be proved in a document along with descriptions of successful and unsuccessful outcomes, and agreed with our customers. We then implement and test the solution in a controlled environment that replicates a live environment and data conditions. The outcome is then determined, documented and reported back to customers.

How will it help my business?

Proof of Concept is an important service product and enables us to eliminate the risks associated with unknowns or assumptions before a project starts, rather than finding out later during the project. We will only define a project based on what we know to be possible – and if we are considering a theoretical solution which is not proven, we’ll use Proof of Concept to prove it first.

Why Codestone?

Proof of Concept is only required in a small proportion of projects. Nevertheless, if required, it is important that it’s used. Codestone has performed many Proof of Concepts over the years and most have a successful outcome. Notably, some don’t – which highlights the importance for this to be used when required.
