Talent Acquisition Specialist

Up to £45K basic (dependent on experience) plus (15% bonus) +Pension 

 

Codestone Group is successful and growing quickly which means we need to continue to add great people to our team. As part of our wider group People function, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be working with hiring managers to gain a strong understanding of the skills required by the business both now and in the future. The primary activities of the role will be to use a variety of proven techniques to successfully fill vacancies with high quality team members and building and nurturing a talent pipeline to support the group to deliver on its workforce plan.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who really wants to make a difference to the organisation. You will provide results-driven talent acquisition expertise and collaborate with stakeholders and hiring managers, ensuring a commitment to high-quality talent and impactful candidate experience is consistent regardless of the role or seniority.

Objectives of this role

  • Develop, implement, and improve Talent Acquisition channels (such as networks, processes, tools, and systems) to attract the best candidates
  • Devise and implement sourcing tactics, such as digital networking and employer branding initiatives etc., to build pipelines for potential applicants
  • Ensure that staffing needs are being met with the group’s workforce plan in mind
  • Drive EVP (employee value proposition)
  • Design and deliver talent acquisition initiatives in the UK that align with business objectives
  • Talent pooling – create internal/external talent pools for positions with niche/specialist skillsets
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department by working closely with hiring managers
  • Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals
  • Proactively network and market job opportunities to build pipelines of qualified candidates and sell the advantages of working for the company
  • Develop a trusted relationship with the business and become an entrusted recruiter to the team to deliver a best-in-class hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with potential candidates, represent the company in external recruitment events
  • Working with the People Team in managing an efficient end-to-end recruitment process through to onboarding
  • Identify, attract, and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process to fulfil the requirements of the employment opportunity
  • Identify and use all the direct recruitment tools available, from direct approaches to job boards, and social media to identify, engage candidates
  • Develop and execute fully comprehensive hiring plans, analysing requirements to determine target profile needs and matches
  • Working within government regulations on recruitment legislation
  • Where necessary, work with agencies for role that cannot be filled directly
  • Any other required tasks relevant to the role

About You:
You will need experience in direct sourcing, excellent stakeholder management and results driven with proven experience delivering on KPIs such as quality hires, time to hire and cost per hire. With this you will need to be a well-rounded and experienced recruiter, ideally from an agency or an internal high-volume recruitment environment where you understand the pressures involved in a busy talent acquisition role.

For this role you must be able to demonstrate success recruiting from entry level to senior level roles in commercial markets. You must be ambitious, pro-active and a passionate recruiter who really wants to make a difference to the company by acquiring top talent. This position requires someone to have proven experience with end-to-end recruitment expertise and can be proactive and adaptable to changing needs. You will also need to have experience or an understanding of recruiting for niche roles and be innovative in your approach due to changes in the market and company requirements.

Required Experience and Key Successful Factors:

  • Two or three years of success in talent acquisition
  • Experience and understanding in recruitment talent pipeline planning and build
  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good copywriting / written communication skills to produce engaging adverts and candidate marketing material
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, the latest technology solutions in recruitment to attract candidates through designing, implementing, and maintaining social media campaigns
  • Experience working as part of/alongside a People team where talent and People colleagues collaborate on shared projects is desirable
  • Understand the important of ED&I (equality, diversity, and inclusion)

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field
  • Experience of using applicant tracking systems
