Cytoplan is a science-based supplement company meeting the needs of healthcare professionals and their patients. Founded in 1990 by practitioners with many years’ experience in nutritional science it is a leader in food-based supplements, working closely with doctors and scientists.

Understanding the Problem

The Challenge

Cytoplan needed to upgrade from its legacy SAP system implemented over six years ago as some software elements were no longer performing at the required level. In addition, incorrect and inconsistent data was slowing up the system and required cleansing and checking for quality.

Third party software integration was also key. Cytoplan was using other software to manage its webshop and despatch processes and it wanted to integrate these seamlessly into one platform.

The Solution

Making it Work

Codestone upgraded SAP Business One enabling Cytoplan to unite its financial operations by automating accounting tasks within one ERP system. Cytoplan also manages its sales process and customer lifecycle efficiently by gaining key insight into its prospects and customers and using the ERP as a backbone for its direct mail activities.

The full order-to-pay flow is finely tuned with SAP Business One. The third-party software used for Cytoplan’s webshop is linked so every single order is processed through SAP Business One, enabling each order to be fulfilled and despatched correctly. All customer details are maintained and automatically updated within the system.

The data issues were resolved with additional resource and expertise from Codestone, providing a detailed understanding in how the data would be migrated to achieve the desired outcome.
