Support for Big Data with Replication for Hadoop in DBMoto – Version 9

BackOffice Associates’ HiT Software® division, a leader in Data Replication and Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions for heterogeneous database environments, today announced the release of DBMoto® version 9. This version extends DBMoto’s support for Big Data, data stores and analytic platforms by adding real-time data replication and change-data capture for Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) and Teradata®.

Additional new features include:

  • Performance enhancements for Oracle, IBM DB2 for i and MySQL replications by optimising the way the native database logs are read
  • Enhanced support for Large Binary Object (BLOB and LOB) replications on IBM
  • Improved options for replicating transactions under commitment control
  • New scheduling capability for replication verification
