IPC Europe is a non-profit organisation that works with a major fast-food chain of franchises to help it become more profitable and competitive.
An independent, outsourced organisation, IPC Europe handles the purchasing, management and supply of food, packaging and equipment to franchise holders as well as providing a wide range of professional services including customer service, procurement, supply chain and retail technology.
The Challenge
As a growing business, IPC Europe’s incumbent system was not delivering on its requirement for an effective financial management solution. The dated system lacked the necessary transparency and was no longer fit for purpose, in terms of output and the effectiveness of the information it provided.
IPC Europe wanted to eliminate the need for manual processes and interventions, such as relying on Excel for data manipulation. Replacing it with a streamlined, cloud-based system would give the organisation more confidence in its financial operations and make reporting more efficient and seamless.
The Solution
Codestone implemented SAP Business ByDesign, providing IPC Europe with a single cloud ERP solution for greater visibility of its finances, and to enable smarter working through automation. The solution will also scale with the business.

Streamlining expense management
To enable greater simplicity and control of its procurement to pay processes, IPC Europe also deploys SAP Concur with Codestone. Fully integrated with SAP Business ByDesign, it supports all of its internal costs, travel expenses and invoicing processes. Expenses information is simply captured by mobile phone via an app making it more streamlined for users and approvers to process.
