The competition for this recognition was fierce, with participation open to thousands of UK-based Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSPs). Unlike traditional assessments based solely on sales volume or revenue, contenders for this award had to demonstrate excellence in managing an IT business comprehensively.
The entry process was anything but ordinary, with entrants subjected to evaluation in twelve crucial areas of business, measuring best practices through nearly two hundred questions crafted with input from over 30 seasoned business coaches intimately familiar with the IT industry.
No stone was left unturned, with the evaluated key business areas including everything from vision and strategy, to help desk support, customer satisfaction and financial management. This rigorous assessment, scored by a sophisticated Business Intelligence AI algorithm, benefited from fine-tuning with data inputs from thousands of past evaluations. Consequently, the system effectively benchmarks and scores the best business practices of each applicant with a high degree of precision.
