Extensive S/4HANA experience
Following a successful and diverse career spanning over 24 years, Mike has gained an enviable reputation as an expert in SAP delivering a wide range of projects large and small, working for a plethora of companies from large blue-chip organisations to start-ups. As one of the first people to work on SAP S/4HANA, Mike has undertaken a variety of roles working for SAP including customer relationship management, global head of delivery and ultimately heading up SAP’s S/4HANA Cloud ERP strategy, before joining Codestone.
A valuable skill set at Codestone
Because Mike has been part of the SAP’s Cloud and ERP journey, his broad experience in project management, delivery, presales and strategic planning at a global level, means there are few people in the industry like him. Mike says, “I will be looking at enriching core areas across the organisation to capitalise on the S/4HANA Cloud growth opportunity whilst developing the SME and midmarket portfolio.” He believes Codestone is in a great position to offer the very best customer experience whether this is Business One, ByDesign or SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP, targeting onboarding to be agile, with fast time to value, exceeding customers’ expectations and continued support is exceptional. Who will benefit?
Already highly certified, Codestone has the solid foundation to ensure customers can benefit from SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and particularly the financial services industry, where Codestone already has its own Insight package. SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the natural progression for SAP Business One and ByDesign customers who are expanding and evolving quickly, certainly those who may be reaching the limits of their current solution.
The vision for the future
The vision couldn’t be clearer for Mike as he goes on to say, “I want Codestone to continue to be the market leader for the full SAP product suite and to be the champion for SAP S/4HANA Cloud! Working alongside SAP, we’re looking at a lifelong commitment to our customers, making sure they are supported throughout their full application lifecycle. I want all customers to have the same experience, which is to be able to turn on their computer screen and the cloud just happens. And if there is anything wrong, there is just one person to contact at Codestone and the issues will be quickly resolved.”
It really is a win-win for the customer, as not only will they have a heavily supported journey to the cloud with an expert team behind them, but they will also get to take advantage of continued innovations and automated updates in the future.
Reach for the skies
One could say Mike is flying high in his career, but in his spare time he is also flying high as a pilot of a Piper Warrior plane. Interestingly, he was also a competitive table tennis player, ranked in the top 200 in the country. However, he has left this fast and furious sport behind him and is now happy to settle for gentle runs to keep fit and healthy.
The SAP S/4HANA journey continues
Having lived and breathed SAP S/4HANA since its conception, Mike’s strategic approach will continue to help Codestone offer the best experience for its customers.
